‘사랑 없는 은사의 행함은 자기만족을 위함이다’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
사랑 없이 행하는 은사는 자기만족을 위함이다. 사랑은 다른 사람의 만족을 위해 나를 희생하는 것이다. 어떤 은사보다 더 귀한 은사는 사랑이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
사랑은 자신의 유익을 구하지 않기에 타인을 위해 양보하고 희생하고 내 자유와 권리도 절제한다. 즉, 예수를 닮은 삶이다.
3. 결단과 적용
주여, 오늘도 자신을 낮추고 나를 위해 죽어 주신 예수님의 사랑으로 내가 당해도 조용히 십자가 지고 살아간다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 오늘도 예수님이 내게 주신 그 사랑으로 나의 자유도 권리도 절제하며 타인을 섬기며 참아주며 살게 하소서. 예수 님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Practicing gifts without love is for self-satisfaction’
I Co. 13:1-7
1. Observation and Meditation
Exercising God’s given gifts without love is solely for self-satisfaction. Love means sacrificing myself to satisfy the needs of others. The most valuable gift of all is the gift of love.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
Since love never seeks self-satisfaction, it makes way for others and restrains my own freedom and rights for their sake. In short, love enables me to imitate Jesus Christ.
3. Decisions and Applications
Therefore, today I will humble myself to be like Jesus, who sacrificed Himself for my benefit. I will take up my own cross, even if I am being falsely humiliated by liars.
Today's Prayer
Lord, strengthen me so that I may practice Your love by patiently laying down my own freedom and rights for the sake of others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
