‘결혼하지 않음이 더 좋은 이유’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
결혼에 대해 바울은 주님의 명령이 아닌 자신의 견해를 밝힌다. 결혼하는 것도 잘하는 것이나 결혼하지 않음이 더 잘하는 것은 주님께 헌신하기 때문이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
결혼을 하면 행복한 가정을 세우기 위해 힘을 써야 한다. 결혼하지 않으면 전심을 다해 오직 주님을 섬길 수 있기에 더 잘하는 것이다.
3. 결단과 적용
아내가 천국에 간 후 아내를 돌보던 일에서 자유함을 얻었다. 그래서 온전히 전심을 다해 주님을 섬기며 산다. 독신으로 사는 것이 더 잘하는 것임을 알기에 그 길을 간다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 주님 앞에 설 때까지 독신으로 살게 하소서. 전심을 다해 오직 주님을 섬기며 예수의 증인으로 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!
‘The reason why practicing celibacy is better’
I Co. 7:25-40
1. Observation and Meditation
Concerning marriage, Paul gives his personal opinion rather than insisting on a command from the Lord. Anyone who marries does well, but those who never marry do better because they can serve the Lord without distraction.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
If I am married, I must dedicate myself to establishing a happy family. If not, I can devote myself entirely to serving and pleasing the Lord, which is better.
3. Decisions and Applications
Since my wife went to be with the Lord, I have been set free from the responsibilities of taking care of her. As a result, I can dedicate myself to the Lord wholeheartedly. Since living as a widower allows me to serve the Lord exclusively, I choose to continue on this path.
Today's Prayer
Lord, strengthen me to practice celibacy until I stand before you. Empower me to serve you alone and witness for you with all my heart and mind. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
