본문관찰과 묵상
하나님이 없는 자는 자신이 우상이 되어 자기만족과 욕심을 채우기 위한 온갖 죄를 짓는다. 영적타락은 곧 21가지의 육 적인 타락으로도 이어진다. 하나님은 그들 위에 진노의 심판을 한다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
모든 피조물을 보면 창조주가 있다는 것이 계시되어 다 하나님을 알게 되 있다. 그 하나님께 감사와 영광을 돌리지 않고 피조물을 섬기는 우상숭배는 하나님의 진노의 심판을 받는다.
결단과 적용
기독교 복음의 핵심은 예수가 내 안에 주인이 되셔야 세상의 풍조 를 따르지 않고 하나님 중심, 예수 중심, 성령충만 중심으로 산다. 예수가 없으면 온갖 세상풍조를 따라 욕심대로 산다. ‘욕심이 잉태 한즉 죄를 낳고 죄가 장성 한즉 사망을 낳는다’ (약 1:15). 오늘 내 안에 있는 우상을 살핀다. 소멸하는 성령의 불로 태워 주소서!
‘Unless God-centeredness, I am inclined to be engulfed by sins’

Observation and meditation on the text
If God is not my Lord, then I am inclined to commit all kinds of sins to satisfy my ego and covetousness as I manipulate idols. Spiritual corruption naturally brings about at least 21 physical sins as Paul pinpointed. God’s wrath will pour upon them.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
All God’s creation itself reveals the Creator so that no one can make any excuse to deny God. However, to make the matter worse, sinful human beings never give thanks to the Creator nor glorify God. Rather, sinners serve the creation as their idols, which will cause the God’s judgment of wrath.
Decisions and applications
The core value of the gospel in Christianity is simple; only when Jesus is my Lord and Savior, I will not be succumbed by the trend of this sinful world as I am living God-centered, Christ-centered by being filled with the Holy Spirit. Unless otherwise, I will be engulfed by the sinful trend of this world. ‘As the desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death’ (James 1:15). Burn my ego by your Spirit!
