‘목자 이신 하나님의 양으로 살라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
창조주, 구원자, 목자 이신 하나님의 양은 그를 찬송하고 순종하며 산다. 모세가 40년을 조상들과 함께 했으나 그들의 불순종으로 하나님의 안식을 누리지 못했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님은 나의 목자요 나는 그의 양이다. 양은 목자에게 순종할 때 평안하다. 감사와 찬양으로 경배하며 오늘도 순종할 때 참된 안식을 누리며 살아간다.
3. 결단과 적용
하나님이 나의 창조주이심을 아는 자가 자신이 하나님의 양임을 안다. 하나님을 모르면 내 자신을 모르고 불순종한다. 양에게 목자만 있으면 삶이 평안하다.
오늘의 기도
나를 지으신 창조주를 찬양하고 감사드린다. 그의 양이 되었으니 목자를 순종하는 양이 참된 안식을 누린다. 주여, “여호와는 나의 목자 시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다” (시 23:1) 고백하며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Living as a Sheep of God, our Shepherd’
Ps. 95:1–11
1. Observation and Meditation
We are the flock of God—our Creator, Savior, and Shepherd. As His people, we are called to praise and obey Him. When Moses led the Jewish ancestors, they were unable to enter God’s rest because of their hardened hearts and disobedience. This serves as a reminder that belonging to the flock requires a heart of submission.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Through QT, I hear the Lord affirming: "I am your Shepherd, and you are My sheep." When a sheep follows the Shepherd’s lead, life is marked by peace and security. Therefore, today I chose to worship Him with a heart of thanksgiving. By listening to His voice and obeying His Word, I find my true and everlasting rest in Him.
3. Decisions and Applications
My identity is inextricably linked to God. If I recognize Him as my Shepherd, I truly understand myself as His sheep. Without knowing Him, I lose my sense of identity and become prone to wandering and disobedience. Today, I decided to stay close to my Shepherd, knowing that in His presence, my life is complete and peaceful.
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, I praise You as my Creator with a thankful heart. Because I am one of Your sheep, I commit to obeying Your voice and finding my genuine rest in You alone. Lord, let my life be a living confession that "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want" (Ps. 23:1). In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
