‘사명이란 나를 부르신 분이 주신 일이다’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
포도원에서 일할 품꾼을 주인이 아침에 나가 얻어 일하게 했다. 수시로 나가 품꾼을 얻어 마지막 1시간만 일 한 자에게도 한 데나리온의 품삯을 지급했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
오래 일한 자가 더 받을 줄 알았으나 약속된 금액 다 받았다. 나를 부르신 하나님이 주신 일 즉, 천국을 위해 하나님의 일꾼으로 일 하는 것이 사명이다.
3. 결단과 적용
처음부터 택함 받은 유대인이라고 더 받는 것이 아니다. 늦게 와서 일한 이방인도 똑 같이 천국백성이 된다. 나를 부르신 하나님의 일꾼으로 천국을 위해 일하는 것은 그 자체가 영광이요 특권이다. 더 많은 품삯이 일하는 동기가 아니라 그리스도의 일꾼으로 천국 위해 일함이 내 생명을 던져도 아깝지 않은 순수한 동기다.
오늘의 기도
주여 늦은 나이에 나를 택하고 불러 하나님의 나라를 위해 일하게 하신 은혜에 감사 드립니다. 이방인인 나를 하나님의 자녀로 삼아주신 존재론적인 축복이 너무 감사합니다. 천국일꾼의 사명을 주셨으니 주님 앞에 가는 날 까지 생명을 잃어도 사명으로 살겠습니다. 도와주소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.

Mt. 20:1-16
1. Observation and Meditation
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. He went out again at different hours to hire more. At the end of the day, he paid everyone exactly one denarius, regardless of when they started.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Those who were hired first complained, yet they received exactly what they had agreed upon. I realize that whether one has worked for a long time or a short time, "mission" is simply what God has assigned to those He calls. The promise remains the same for everyone.
3. Decisions and Applications
The Jews, who were called first, do not receive more than the Gentiles, who were called later. We all receive the same reward as children of God’s kingdom. To be hired as a servant of the Kingdom is, in itself, an honor and a privilege. My motivation is not to earn "higher wages," but to serve as a humble worker for Christ. My pure motivation is to lay down my life for the One who called me: God in Jesus Christ.
Today's Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your mercy and grace in calling me to work for Your kingdom, even if it was later than others. I am deeply moved by the grace that allows me—a Gentile—to be called Your child. Since You have entrusted me with a mission for Your kingdom, I commit to laying down my life for this calling until my time on earth is done. Help me, Lord! In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
