‘이 땅에서 나그네처럼 살리라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
아브라함과 사라는 믿음으로 순종하여 약속의 땅에 들어갔다. 그러나 그곳에서 이방인과 나그네처럼 장막에서 살았다. 떠나온 갈대아 우르를 생각한 것이 아니라 더 나은 하늘의 본향을 사모했다. 하나님은 그를 통해 큰 민족을 이루셨다. 그리고 하늘에 한 성을 예비하셨다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
내가 하나님을 믿고 순종하면 하나님은 나의 하나님이 되신다. 내가 믿고 순종하면 하나님은 나에게 필요한 모든 것을 공급하신다. 그러나 이 땅의 것에 매여 살지 않고 하늘 나라 본향을 위하여 내려놓으면 천국백성이 된다.
결단과 적용
이 땅에서의 삶을 나그네와 이방인처럼 살리라. 무소유로 왔으니 무소유로 돌아가리라. 가서 주님께 나 같은 무자격자를 사용하여 주셔서 고맙습니다 라고 말하리라. 주님이 예비하신 하늘나라 처소에서 주님과 영원히 살리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Abraham and Sarah entered to the promised land by faith in God through their obedience. However, in the promised land they lived in a tent like foreigners and strangers. They did not intend to return to their home country, but they were longing for a better country, a heavenly one.
God blessed them and they established a great nation. God prepared a city for them in heaven.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
If I believe in God and obey him, then God becomes my God. Furthermore, God provides me with all things that I may need. However, if I put all the worldly blessings down for him, I shall become a citizen in the heavenly kingdom.
Decisions and applications
I will live my life on earth like a foreigner and stranger. Since I have come to this world naked, I shall return home naked. When I meet Jesus there, I will express my gratitude to the Lord for his giving a chance to serve him to such an unqualified one like me. Then, I will live with Jesus in my place the Lord prepared for me forever.
