‘하나님의 경륜, 일하시는 방법’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 바벨론 을 애굽을 심판하는 도구로 쓰신다. 애굽의 모든 도시, 우상을 섬기던 신전과 애굽 왕의 팔을 꺽어서 이스라엘이 더 이상 애굽을 의지하지 못하게 하려함이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
칼을 바벨론 에게 주어 “세내어온 삭도” (사 7:20) 로 심판의 도구로 쓰고 바벨론 도 후에는 버려진다. 이렇게 행하심은 이스라엘을 살리려는 하나님의 경륜, 일하심이다.
3. 결단과 적용
어떤 사람의 팔을 강하게도 하시고 약하게도 하시는 하나님이 만국과 만유를 다스리며 심판하신다. 절대 교만으로 살지 말아야 한다. 오늘도 예수를 닮아 낮아지는 삶을 계속 살아가리라.

주여, 오늘도 세상에서 계속되는 전쟁들을 봅니다. 주님이 다스려 주소서. 주님의 심판이 공의와 정의로 임 하소서. 주님만 의지합니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘God’s Sovereignty and Governance’
Ezekiel 30:10–26
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God uses Babylon as an instrument of judgment against Egypt. He destroys Egypt's cities and pagan shrines, breaking Pharaoh’s power so that Israel will no longer rely on human alliances rather than on God.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Throughout Scripture, nations like Babylon and Assyria serve as a "hired razor" (Isaiah 7:20) in God’s hands. He temporarily grants them power to discipline His people and execute judgment. Yet, this is part of God’s overall providence and adminstration: breaking false dependencies so that His chosen people might be restored and refined.
3. Decisions and applications
God holds ultimate power—He can strengthen or weaken the arms of earthly rulers according to His divine purpose. Because human power is temporary and subject to God’s sovereign control, I must guard against pride and self-reliance. Today, I commit to following Jesus Christ by practicing humility and serving others selflessly.
Today's Prayer
"Lord, as I see conflict and unrest among the nations today, I am reminded that You alone hold the ultimate authority. Reign over us and judge the earth with Your perfect justice and righteousness. Keep me from placing my trust in worldly power. Help me to rely fully on You today. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen."
