‘주의 종으로 사는 자의 결단과 고백’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
다윗이 왕이 되며 고백한 결단이다. 인자와 정의와 완전한 마음으로 주님만을 바라본다. 사악한 행위를 내 눈으로 보지 않으면 사악한 마음이 내 게서 떠난다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
사악한 행위는 뒤에서 남을 헐 뜯는 것과 거짓을 행하는 것은 하나님 앞에 서지 못하게 한다.
3. 결단과 적용
“믿음의 주요 온전케 하시는 예수를 바라보라” (히 12:2). 주님을 바라보면 주님의 마음이 생긴다. 주님을 닮아 가리라. 사악한 행위를 보지 않으리라!

주여, 나의 눈을 주님께 고정합니다. 내게 믿음을 주셨으니 그 믿음을 완성시켜 주소서. 예수님이 보여주신 죽기까지 순종하는 믿음 주소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!
‘My Confession and Commitment as a Servant of God’
Ps. 101:1-8
1. Observation and Meditation
This Psalm records David’s confession of faith upon his enthronement. He was determined to walk before the Lord with a blameless heart. I, too, must resolve not to set any vile thing before my eyes. When I refuse to dwell on wickedness, a perverse heart will find no place in me.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
The Lord reminds me that a perverse spirit—manifested through slandering others in secret or practicing deceit—cannot stand in His presence. To serve Him, I must guard my tongue and my integrity.
3. Decisions and Applications
I will "fix my eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith" (Heb. 12:2). By keeping my gaze on Him, I am transformed into His likeness. My desire is not just to follow Him, but to truly imitate His heart.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I fix my eyes on You today. Since You are the one who initiated my faith, I trust You to bring it to completion. Fill me with the same perfect faith You demonstrated—a faith that obeys even unto death. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
