‘5,6,7번째 비유: 감추인 보화 예수’  

1. 본문 관찰과 묵상

천국은 감추인 보화와 진주 같이 다른 것과 비교 할 수 없는 구원자 예수다.  천국은 그물에 걸린 고기 중에 가짜는 풀무 불에 던지고 진짜만 골라 천국에 들인다.     

2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성

예수의 가르침과 지혜에는 놀랐으나 그가 목수의 아들임을 알고 예수를 거부했다.  선지자는 고향에서 대접받지 못했다.  기적을 행하지 않았다.

3. 결단과 적용

나는 감추어졌던 하나님의 비밀인 예수를  발견하고 내 인생을 예수께 걸었다.   그 결과 나는 구원받고 새로운 인생을 살게 되었다.  새로운 살길 예수를 전도하며 살리라.

오늘의 기도

“선지자가 자기 고향과 자기 집 외에서는 존경을 받지 않음이 없다” (마 13:57) 는 말씀을 가슴에 새기고 살게 하소서!  사람의 대접보다 예수님이 나를 구원해 주신 큰 은혜에 감사 드립 니다.  오늘도 예수의 증인으로 사랑의 빚을 갚으며 살게 하소서! 

‘The 5th,6th,7th parables: Jesus, the hidden treasure’

Mt. 13: 44-58

1. Observation and Meditation

The Kingdom of Heaven is like an incomparable hidden treasure or a priceless pearl; it is Jesus Christ, our Messiah and Savior. Furthermore, the parable of the net reminds us that just as fishermen sort through their catch, Jesus the Judge will one day gather the good fish into baskets but cast the bad into the blazing furnace.

2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord

I am struck by how people were astonished by Jesus’ wisdom and teaching, yet they ultimately rejected Him because they only saw Him as "the carpenter’s son." Because Jesus was not welcomed in His own hometown, He did not perform many miracles there. It is a sobering reminder that familiarity can sometimes lead to a lack of faith.

3. Decisions and Applications

Having found the "hidden treasure"—the mystery of God revealed in Jesus—I will continue to cling to Him. He has saved me and given me a new life. Therefore, I commit to witnessing for Jesus to all nations for the rest of my days.

Today's Prayer

Lord, please engrave Your words in my heart: “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town” (Mt. 13:57). I praise You with deep gratitude because You have accepted and saved me, offering a grace that far surpasses any human approval. Empower me today to "repay" the debt of Your love by witnessing to Your goodness wherever I go.  In Jesus’ name I pray.
