‘할례와 유월절과 신발 벗음으로 사는 새 삶!’
본문관찰과 묵상
길갈에서 12돌을 쌓아 구원의 증인으로 산다. 길갈에서 할례를 받은 출애굽 2세의 새 삶을 산다. 애굽의 수치를 벗었다. 유월절을 지킴으로 하나님을 나의 구원자로 고백한다. 신발 벗음은 모든 권리 를 주님께 드리는 완전 헌신의 고백이다. 새 세대는 새 삶을 살라!
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나는 예수 안에서 새로운 피조물이 되어 새 세대가 되었다. 죄의 수치가 벗어졌다. 그래서 주안에서 당당하게 새로운 삶을 산다. 어린양 예수의 보혈로 사망 권세가 나를 넘어갔다. 살림 받았으니 새생명을 주께 온전히 드려 매일 죽음으로 매일 새롭게 살아간다.
결단과 적용
이렇게 나는 매일 새 사람으로 새 삶을 살아간다. 이스라엘 자손 은 할례와 유월절과 신발을 벗어 주께 드림으로 하나님의 택한 백성으로 살았다. 새 언약의 시대의 새 삶은 육체가 아닌 내 심령에 할례를 한다. 죄의 수치를 벗는다. 어린양 예수를 믿어 그 흔적으로 사망 권세가 나를 넘어가는 유월절을 산다. 그 새 생명으로 모세와 여호수아가 신발 벗었듯이 나의 모든 권리를 주께 양도한다. 나는 주님의 것이다. 주님이 원 하시는 대로 나를 사용 하소서!
‘A new life with circumcision, Passover, and taking off my shoes’
Jos 5:2-15
Observation and meditation on the text
A new person lives as a witness of Jesus by setting up 12 stones at Gilgal. Those who were born in the wilderness for 40 years could live a new life by being circumcised at Gilgal. The reproach of Egypt is rolled away from me at Gilgal. I declare my salvation by confessing Jesus Christ is my Passover Lamb. To take off my sandals is my decisive action of my total surrender to transfer all my rights to Jesus Christ. I live a new life as a new creation.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Since I have become a new creation in Jesus Christ, I have become a new spiritual generation of today. All my secularized reproach of this sinful world has been rolled away at Gilgal. Therefore, I live a new life in blessed assurance in Jesus. The power of death of my sins has passed over me by the blood of the Passover Lamb Jesus Christ. Since I have received a new life, I want to give it to the Lord in total surrender by takin off my shoes and live a new life every day and every moment.
Decisions and applications
Hence, I live a new life every day as a new person. The Israelites live as the chosen by being circumcised, Passover, taking off their sandals and give it to God. In the New Covenant era, I live a new life not by bodily circumcision but by the circumcision of my heart. The reproach of this sinful world has been rolled away from me. I live my Passover by believing in the blood of Jesus Christ, my Passover Lamb so that the power of death passes over me. As Moses and Joshua took off their sandals by receiving God’s given new life, I also transfer all my rights to my Lord. I belong to him. So, Lord, here I am, use me as you want!
