‘우상 섬기다 망한자가 살수 있는 길’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
첫째, 가나안의 우상을 멸하지 않고 이용 하다 저들에게 망했다. 둘째, 자식들까지 우상에 바치는 행위 로 더러워졌다. 셋째, 흩어짐 받고 이방인의 다스림을 받았다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
죄로 흩어져 디아스포라로 흩어져 이방인의 고통 스런 다스림을 받으며 부르짖어 회개했다. 언약을 기억하시고 긍휼하심으로 구원하셨다.
3. 결단과 적용
회개하며 부르짖는 자를 멸시하지 않으시고 구원하시는 하나님은 용서의 하나님, 사랑의 하나님이다. 주님께 부르짖으며 회개할 때 나를 구원하시는 주를 찬양한다.
오늘의 기도
“하나님께서 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님 이여 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니 하시리이다” (시 51:17/대하 7:14). 오늘도 회개 하오니 나를 회복시켜 주소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!
‘The Path to Restoration for the Fallen Idolater’
Ps. 106:34-48
1. Observation and Meditation
Instead of destroying the idols of Canaan as commanded, the Israelites chose to serve them, which led to their own destruction. They defiled themselves by sacrificing their own children to idols, desecrating the land with innocent blood. Consequently, they were scattered among the nations and came under the rule of the Gentiles.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Even when I am scattered and living as a "diaspora" in a foreign land, I can cry out to the Lord. Often, it is through severe suffering and affliction that I am led to repentance. Upon hearing the cry of a contrite heart, God remembers His covenant and mercifully delivers me.
3. Decisions and Applications
I recognize that my Savior is the God of forgiveness and love; He unfailingly delivers every sinner who repents and cries out to Him. I praise the Lord, who rescues me from eternal death whenever I turn back to Him in repentance.
Today's Prayer
"My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.’ (Psalm 51:17).
Lord, as I repent with a sincere and contrite heart, please restore my broken spirit. Thank You for Your faithfulness even when I have been unfaithful. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
