‘내 삶 자체가 거룩한 땅이 되라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
제사장과 레위인의 땅 외의 거룩한 땅은 백성 을 위한 주거지와 경작지다. 가운데에 성읍이 있고 경작지에서 나는 소산은 각지파에서 뽑혀와 성읍에서 일하는 자들의 양식이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
그러므로 거룩성은 장소를 초월해 나의 매일의 삶이 구별되어 살아야 한다. 거룩한 땅 좌우편은 군주 에게 주었다. 군주가 백성을 압제하지 않고 살 수 있게 한 것이다.
3. 결단과 적용
거룩한 땅에 주거지와 경작지가 함께 있게 한 것은 내 삶 자체가 거룩한 땅이 되라는 말씀이다.
오늘의 기도
주여 오늘도 내 안에 성령이 충만하여 내 자신이 거룩한 성전으로 살게 하소서 (고전 3:16-17). 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Let yourself be a holy land’
Ezekiel 48:15–22
1. Observation and meditation on the text
The land surrounding the holy area designated for the priests and Levites was set aside for common use—specifically for city housing and pastureland. Positioned at the center, the city's surrounding produce provided food for those who worked within it.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Holiness is not defined by a specific physical location; rather, my daily life must be consecrated to God wherever I am. Additionally, the land on both sides of the holy district was allocated to the prince, serving as a reminder that leaders are called to steward resources wisely and avoid exploiting God's people.
3. Decisions and applications
God permitted houses and pasturelands within the designated holy ground to remind me that my entire daily life; work, home, and rest—is meant to be holy land dedicated to Him.
Today's Prayer
Lord, empower me today to live as Your holy temple, keeping in mind that Your Holy Spirit dwells within me (1 Corinthians 3:16–17). Sanctify my everyday work and routine in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
