‘슬기로운 5 처녀처럼 신랑 맞을 준비하라’  

1. 본문 관찰과 묵상

미련한 5 처녀는 등만 준비했지 기름이 없었다.  기름 사러 간 사이에 신랑이 왔고 그들은 혼인잔치에 들어가지 못했다.  말씀을 듣고 행하는 자가 기름준비한 자다. 

2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성

겉으로는 다 준비된 것 같았어도 기름을 준비하지 못한 자는 말씀을 들었어도 말씀을 살지 않았다.  말씀을 행할 때 세상속의 빛이 되고 천국백성이 된다.   

3. 결단과 적용 

말씀대로 사는 것이 참 힘들다.  거짓으로 죄 없는 사람에게 뒤집어 씌우고 의로운 자처럼 사는 거짓 선지자가 많다.  고난 속에 끝까지 잠잠히 말씀대로 순종하며 살아간다.

오늘의 기도

내 입으로 내가 의로운 자라고 말하지 않게 하시고 죄인이라 고백하게 하소서.  예수님은 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으시면 서도 분노도, 변명도 하지 않고 끝까지 용서하시고 가셨습니다.  내 자신을 부인하고 오늘도 내 십자가 지고 가게 하소서.  주님이 맞아 주실 줄 믿습니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 

‘Living like the five wise virgins who were prepared’

Mt. 25:1-13

1. Observation and Meditation

1.       Five foolish virgins carried their lamps but neglected to bring oil. While they were away purchasing oil, the bridegroom arrived. This teaches me that if I do not live out the Word of God, I lack the "oil" necessary to shine when I meet Jesus. Without that light, I risk hearing the words, "I do not know you."

2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord

Though all the virgins appeared prepared to meet the Lord, half of them failed to embody His teachings. They lacked the oil of a transformed life. I realize that only by living out His Word can I truly be a light in this world, reflecting Jesus as a citizen of His kingdom.

3. Decisions and Applications

Living for Christ is a challenge, especially when faced with false accusations from those seeking to hide their own wickedness. Even when it is painful to be falsely accused, I decide to remain silent in my suffering, following the example of Jesus. I will continue to let His light shine through my obedience.

Today's Prayer

Lord, grant me the humility to confess my sins rather than hiding behind self-righteousness. I look to Jesus, who was sinless yet never spoke in anger or made excuses, choosing instead to forgive His accusers even upon the cross. Lord, empower me to take up my own cross and follow You faithfully to the end. I trust that You are leading me into Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
