‘주님이 명하신 결혼으로 거룩하라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
결혼은 주님이 명령하신 것이다. 음행을 피 하는 길이다. 믿는 남편이나 아내를 통해 구원받아 거룩하게 구별 될 수 있다. 끝까지 하나되어 하나님께 영광 돌려야 한다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
결혼은 금욕주의자와 쾌락 주의자로 넘치는 세상에서 남편과 아내가 서로를 거룩하게 구별되어 살게 하는 길이다. 예수의 사랑으로 하나되어 산다.
3. 결단과 적용
나는 아내와 결혼하여 40년을 함께 살았다. 아내가 먼저 천국에 갔지만 나는 재혼하지 않을 것이다. 하나님 앞에서 구별되어 산 삶을 계속하여 살 것이다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 아내가 천국에 간 후로도 흔들리지 않게 붙잡아 주소서. 아내는 이미 예수 그리스도와 결혼한 것이니 나도 예수와 결혼해서 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Live a sanctified life through marriage, which is God’s command’
I Co. 7:1-16
1. Observation and Meditation
God commands marriage as a way to avoid sexual immorality. A husband or a wife can be sanctified through the faith of their spouse, leading to a holy life together. By living as one body, I can glorify the Lord through my marriage.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
Through this QT, I hear the Lord speaking: Marriage is a divine provision for living a sanctified life, especially in an age dominated by philosophies like Stoicism or Epicureanism. The love of Jesus binds a couple together as one body forever.
3. Decisions and Applications
I was married for 40 years as one body in Jesus Christ. My wife has now gone to be with the Lord ahead of me. However, I choose not to remarry. Instead, I will continue to live a sanctified life before God until the day I enter heaven.
Today's Prayer
Lord, strengthen me so that I may not be tossed to and fro by fleshly desires. Since my wife is now united with You, Lord, let me follow that same path by devotion to Jesus Christ, my eternal groom. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
