‘야곱의 예언이 땅 분배에서 성취됨’
본문관찰과 묵상
유다는 시므온 지파에게 자신이 받은 땅을 주었다. 시므온은 분열시대 이후 야곱의 예언대로 흩어져 버렸다. 스불론은 큰 빛으로 온 예수가 활동한 땅이다. 잇사갈은 예언대로 비옥한 땅을 받았다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
우연히 이루어지는 일은 없다. 만사는 창조주, 구원자, 공급자 되신 하나님의 뜻대로 이루어진다. ‘예언을 멸시하지 말라’ (살전 5:20). 하나님이 하신 말씀은 그대로 이루어 진다.
결단과 적용
그러므로 내가 하는 기도는 내 정욕대로 구할 것이 아니다. 하나님이 내게 약속하신 예언의 말씀대로 구해야 한다. 왜? ‘풀은 마르고 꽃은 시드나 우리 하나님의 말씀은 영원히 서리라’ (사 40:8). ‘내 입에서 한번 나간 말도 헛되이 내게 돌아오지 않고 나의 기뻐 하는 뜻을 이루며 내가 보낸 일에 형통함이니라’ (사 55:11).

Observation and meditation on the text
Judah gave a portion of their land to Simeon. The tribe of Simeon was scattered after the kingdom was divided. Zebulun received the land where the great light, Jesus did ministry. Issachar received very fertile land as Jacob prophesied.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Nothing happens coincidently. Everything is fulfilled according to God’s will who is the Creator, Savior, and Provider of our life. ‘Do not treat prophecies with contempt’ (I Thess 5:20). Whatever God prophesied will be fulfilled by God.
Decisions and applications
Therefore, I must not pray to God according to my fleshly desires. I must pray to God according to God’s prophetic promises for me. Why? ‘The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God endures forever’ (Isa 40:8). ‘My word that goes out from my mouth will not return to me empty but will accomplish with what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it’ (Isa 55:11).
