‘하나님을 바라보는 눈을 하나님의 눈이 지키신다’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님을 앙망하는 이스라엘 모든 지파들의 눈을 하나님이 보신 다. 하나님의 눈이 하나님의 집을 둘러 진을 쳐서 적군을 막는다. 교만했던 두로와 이방 족속들이 망하고 남은자가 주께 돌아온다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
‘하나님을 앙망하는 자는 새 힘을 얻으리니 독수리가 날개치며 올라감 같을 것이요’ (사 40:31). ‘믿음의 주요 온전케 하시는 주를 바라보라’ (히 12:2). 주를 바라보면 주의 눈이 나를 지켜 주신다.
결단과 적용
‘내가 산을 향하여 눈을 들리라 나의 도움이 어디서 올꼬 나의 도움이 천지를 지으신 여호와에게서로다. 여호와께서 너를 실족하지 않게 하시며 너를 지키시는 이가 졸지 아니하시리라 (시 121:1-3). 주를 바라보니 주의 눈이 나를 지켜 주소서! 아멘!
‘The eyes of those who hope in the Lord will be protected by God’s eyes.’
Zec 9:1-8
Observation and meditation on the text
God’ s eyes observe the eyes of all the tribes of Israel who hope in the Lord. God’s eyes will encamp God’s house to guard against the marauding forces. Tyre and other haughty cities will be destroyed, and only the remnant will return to God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles’ (Isa 40:31). ‘Fix your eyes upon Jesus who is the founder and perfecter of faith’ (Heb 12:2). If I fix my eyes on Jesus, God’s eyes will protect me from enemy forces.
Decisions and applications
‘I lift my eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip-he who watches over you will not slumber’ (Ps. 121:1-3). Lord, I look upon you by faith, please protect me from my enemies. Amen!
