‘내가 끝까지 감당해야 할 사명은?’
본문관찰과 묵상
여호수아가 늙자 하나님은 마지막 사명을 주셨다. 첫째, 아직 정복하지 못한 땅을 정복하고 9지파와 반지파에게 줄 것. 둘째, 요단 동편 땅을 받은 2지파 반은 현지인 2지파를 쫓아내지 않았다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
그러므로 영적인 충돌이 계속 있을 것을 암시했다. 마지막 레위지파는 분깃이 없다. 그들의 분깃은 하나님 자신이다. 나도 하나님의 종이니 분 깃을 바라고 일하지 말라는 음성을 듣는다.
결단과 적용
그래서 은퇴하면서 원로목사에게 주는 분깃을 많이 사양했다. 가장 기본적인 것만 받았다. 더 이상 욕심이 없다. 사역 중에 신발도 옷도 먹을 양식도 다 공급해 주셨으니 남은 생 다 베풀고 나누어 주며 살아가리라. 주님 가신 바로 그 고난의 좁은 길을 기쁨으로 가리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
As Joshua had grown old, God gave him the last mission. First, he was ordered to conquer the rest of the promised land and distribute it to the 9 and a half tribes. Second, since the 2 and a half tribes who settled in the east side of Joran could not give God the indigenous two tribes as ‘herem,’ they must solve the problem.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God implied that there could be much spiritual conflict with them. Third, God ordered Joshua not to give Levites any portion of land because God was their portion. Since I am also a servant of God, I hear the voice of the Lord that I must not carry on my ministries for the sake of money.
Decisions and applications
Therefore, upon retirement I refused politely not to receive all the pension church offered. I have received the minimum for my personal life. I don’t have any desire for money. Since God has provided all such necessities as clothes, shoes and food, I will give whatever I have to the people and for the sake of missional ministries for the rest of my life with willingness and gladness. I will take the narrow way my Lord Jesus took ahead of me.
