본문 관찰과 묵상
가나안 땅은 지파 별 인구 수 대로 분배하고 지파 별 분배는 제비 뽑기를 통한 하나님의 절대주권으로 이루어 지게 했다. 1개월 이상된 레위인 23,000명은 기업이 없었다. 하나님이 기업이었다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
레위의 자손중 아론의 아들 나답과 아비후는 제멋대로 제사드리다가 죽임당했다. 하나님이 기업이 된 레위인은 철저히 하나님의 절대주권에 순종할 때 쓰임 받는다.
결단과 적용
타락한 스콧틀랜드 교회는 교황을 하나님 처럼 섬겼다. 죄 사함은 미사와 헌금을 통해 받았다. 존 녹스는 여기에 대항했다. 하나님말씀에 기초한 스콧틀랜드 교회는 개신교로 세워졌다. 나는 주의 종이다. 주님의 말씀에 순종할 때 나도 쓰임 받음을 알기에 고난 가운데서도 순종을 배운 예수님의 순종을 오늘 나도 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The land of Canaan was distributed by the numbers of each tribe, and the distribution of the land was allocated by lot, which symbolized as God’s sovereignty. 23,000 Levite older than one month of age had no inheritance because God was their inheritance.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Aaron’s two sons, Nathab and Abihu were killed by their arbitrary and random way to offer unauthorized fire at the altar. The Levites whose inheritance was God were used by God only when they obeyed God’s sovereign power.
Decisions and applications
The backslidden church in Scotland in the 16th century served the Pope like God. By attending the masses and giving offerings, sins were forgiven. John Knox resisted such unbiblical practices. By his spiritual reformation, the church in Scotland became Protestant. I am a servant of God. Since I have assurance that I shall be used by God’s instrument only through my obedience, today I obey the sovereignty of God as Jesus Christ obeyed God in his sufferings till he was crucified.
