‘두려움, 의심, 염려를 주께 맡기라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
제자들이 예수의 말씀에 순종했을 때 풍랑 으로 고난이 닥쳤다. 기도하던 예수가 바다 위를 걸어 그들 에게 갔다. 예수는 베드로의 요청에 바다 위를 걷게 했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
주님의 말씀에 순종할 때 평안이 아닌 풍랑을 겪는다. 그 때 문제를 보고 두려워하면 나는 문제 속에 빠진다. 내 문제를 주님은 아시고 나를 찾아오신다.
3. 결단과 적용
문제를 바라보지 않고 믿음의 주요 온전케 하시는 주를 바라본다. 주님이 내 손을 잡아 구원하신다. 주님께 순종할수록 많은 문제가 생긴다. “너희 염려를 다 주께 맡기라 그가 너를 돌보심이라 근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니 너희는 믿음을 굳건히 하여 그를 대적하라 이는 세상에 있는 너희 형제들도 동일한 고난을 당하는 줄 앎이라” (벧전 5:7-9).
오늘의 기도
주여, 나의 선을 악으로 갚는 자들이 주는 고통을 주님께 드립니다. 그리고 깨어 근신하여 기도할 때 주님이 나와 함께 하소서! 예수님처럼 나의 억울함, 원통함을 십자가에 못박아 죽어버립니다. 그리고 침묵으로 대적하여 오늘도 승리하게 하소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Cast your fear, worry, anxiety on Jesus’
Mt. 14. 22-36
1. Observation and Meditation
In Matthew 14:22–36, we see that even when the disciples were in direct obedience to Jesus, they encountered fierce waves and contrary winds. While Jesus was praying, He saw their struggle and went out to meet them, walking on the lake. At Peter's request, Jesus empowered him to walk on the water as well.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
I realize that following the Lord does not always lead to immediate peace; sometimes, it leads to hardships. When I fixate on my problems, I begin to sink into the "waves and winds" of my circumstances. However, I can take heart knowing that Jesus sees my situation and is already on His way to save me.
3. Decisions and Applications
I choose to fix my eyes on Jesus rather than my problems. Though obedience may bring challenges, the Word of God empowers me to stand firm. As 1 Peter 5:7–9 reminds us, I will cast my anxiety on Him because He cares for me. I will remain alert and sober-minded, resisting the enemy by standing firm in my faith, knowing I am not alone in my suffering.
Today's Prayer
"Lord, I surrender to You all the pain caused by those who have repaid my kindness with betrayal. Keep me alert and sober-minded in prayer. I ask for Your presence as I crucify my resentment and anger. Help me to resist these emotions through silent prayer, that I may find victory in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen."
