‘헌신이란 주님의 것을 주님께 드리는 것’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
다윗은 성전건축을 위해 드린 모든 것이 주님의 손에서 받은 것을 주님께 감사와 찬송으로 드린 것이라 했다. 주님 이 창조한 만물은 다 하나님의 것이다. 절대주권으로 다스린다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
다윗은 아들 솔로몬이 자신과 같은 마음으로 주께 순종하여 정성된 마음으로 주의 성전을 건축
하기를 기도했다. 무엇을 섬기는가 가 나의 정체성을 나타낸다.
3. 결단과 적용
내가 가진 모든 것이 주님이 주신 것이니 기쁜 마음으로 모든 것을 주께 드리며 산다.
*오늘의 기도
“모든 것이 주께로 부터 왔으니 이 예물을 주께 드리나이다” (역대상 29:14, 찬송가 634장). 매일 감사와 찬송으로 주를 섬기며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도 합니다. 아멘.
‘Dedication is giving back to God everything I have received from Him.’
1 Chronicles 29:10-19
1. Observation and Meditation on the text
David praised God and confessed with gratitude that everything he gave toward building the Temple was simply what he had first received from God’s hands. All creation belongs to God, and He reigns sovereignly over all things.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
David prayed that his son Solomon would share this same understanding, building God’s Temple with wholehearted devotion and complete obedience. My identity is revealed by whom I choose to worship and obey.
3. Decisions and Applications
Since everything I have comes from You, Lord, I offer back to You what is already Yours.
*Today’s prayer
“Everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your hand” (1 Chronicles 29:14; Hymnal 634). Lord, help me to live with a heart of praise and thanksgiving every single day and every moment. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
