‘부활을 들어도 믿지 못하는 이유’
본문 관찰과 묵상
여인들이 향품을 가지고 무덤을 찾았다. 돌이 옮겨져 있었고 흰옷입은 천사가 예수 가 부활했음을 알렸다. 예수가 갈릴리에서 만날 것이라 했다. 부활하신 예수가 막달라 마리아에게 보이셨다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
막달라 마리아가 모든 일을 말해도 제자들에게 말해도 저들은 믿지 않았다. 우리는 오늘도 예수의 부활에 관하여 성경이 말씀해도 믿지 않는다. 우리는 다 도마처럼 내가 보고 만져야 믿는다.
결단과 적용
‘믿음은 모든 사람의 것이 아니다’ (살후3:2). 믿지 못하는 이유는 주님의 약속을 믿지 않기 때문이다. 보아야 믿겠다고 한다. ‘믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보지 못하는 것들의 증거다’ (히 11:1). 예수 부활을 기록한 것은 예수가 하나님의 아들임을 선포한 것이고 믿는 자는 영생을 얻게 하려 함이라 (요 20:31).

Observation and meditation on the text
Several women went to the tomb with spices to anoint Jesus’ body. They found the large tomb stone had rolled away. One young angel in a white robe told them Jesus was risen, and he would meet his disciples in Galilee. The risen Jesus showed himself to Mary Magdalene first.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Mary Magdalene told her encountering with Jesus to the disciples, but they did not believe in it. Even though the Bible witnesses it, contemporary people never believe in it. Like doubtful Thomas, we are inclined to believe anything by seeing and touching by our own physical senses.
Decisions and applications
‘Not everyone has faith’ (II Thess 3:2). We don’t’ believe Jesus’ resurrection because we don’t have fain to believe in God’s covenant. We are prone to believe anything by seeing and touching the proofs. However, the Bible says, ‘faith is confidence what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.’ (Heb 11:1). The reason why the Bible testifies the resurrection of Jesus is to proclaim Jesus is the Son of God and whoever believes in him will have eternal life (John 20:31).
