‘숫염소들 대신 모퉁이 돌을 세우시는 하나님’
본문관찰과 묵상
우상을 섬겨 나라를 망하게 한 악한 지도자들인 숫염소들 대신 하나님은 모퉁이 돌, 예수를 보내 회복과 부흥을 주신다. 늦은 비로 풍성한 추수를 주시고 흩어졌던 백성들을 돌아오게 하신다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님이 함께 하시니 예전처럼 기쁨이 회복되며 번성함의 부흥이 일어나리라. 이방 나라들 에게까지 퍼져 나가리라. 백성들이 홍해를 갈라 구원하시고 애굽의 세력을 멸하신 여호와의 이름으로 행하리라.
결단과 적용
모퉁이 돌 되신 예수 그리스로 말미암아 나 같은 이방인도 하나님의 백성이 되었다. 그 안에서 하나님이 거하시는 성전으로 지어져 간다. 나의 삶에 회복과 부흥을 일으키시는 주를 찬양한다.
‘God who sets up the cornerstone instead of the male goats.’
Zec 10:1-12
Observation and meditation on the text
Instead of the male goats, the wicked leaders who destroyed the nation by worshipping idols, God sends Jesus, the cornerstone, to bring restoration and revival. He gives a bountiful harvest through the latter rain and brings back the scattered people.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
With God's presence, joy will return as before, and a revival of prosperity will occur. It will spread to the Gentile nations. The people will walk in the name of the Lord, who saved them by parting the Red Sea and destroying the power of Egypt.
Decisions and applications
Through Jesus Christ, the cornerstone, even a stranger like me has become God's people. Within him, I am being built into a temple where God dwells. I praise the Lord who brings restoration and revival into my life.
