‘전도를 위해 힘을 다하여 수고하는 이유’
본문 관찰과 묵상
복음을 듣고 거룩하고 흠없고 책망할 것이 없는 하나님의 자녀로 세우기 위함이다. 그리스도의 남은 고난을 몸 된 교회를 위하여 육체에 채운다. 그리스도의 영광이 이방인에게 얼마나 큰지 알고 각 사람이 그리스도 안에서 완전하게 하려 함이라.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
예수 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활의 복음을 믿어 하나님의 자녀가 되게 하려함이 전도의 목적이다. 복음을 들어야 구원을 얻기 때문이다. 전도자는 이를 위하여 그리스도의 남은 고난을 육체에 채운다.
결단과 적용
이제 목회를 은퇴하고 나면 복음전파를 위하여 나의 남은 삶을 살리라. 구원함을 얻은 사람들이 주님의 교회의 일원이 되기 위하여 내가 전심을 다하여 뛸 것이다. 주님이 나와 아내의 건강을 지켜 주시기를 기도한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Paul strenuously witnessed Jesus to people so that they might hear the gospel to become God’s children who were blemish and blameless. He did his best to fill up in his flesh what was still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions. He did it to let the gentiles know the greatness of God’s glory so that they might be fully mature in Christ.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The purpose of witnessing Jesus Christ is to lead the people to become children of God by believing in the crucifixion and resurrection. People are being saved only by hearing and believing the gospel. I also fill up the lacking about Christ’s affliction in my body.
Decisions and applications
Upon my retirement I will do my best to witness Jesus Christ for the rest of my life. I will pour out my spirit as a drink offering till the saved ones become church members. Therefore, I pray that the Lord may strengthening me and my wife physically and spiritually.
