‘무덤은 막아도 부활은 막지 못한다’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
아리마대 사람 요셉이 그리스도인임을 밝히고 예수의 시신을 자신의 무덤에 안장 했다. 빌라도는 대제사장들과 바리새인들의 경비병으로 무덤을 지키게했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
제자들은 다 도망갔으나 아리마대 사람 요셉이 담대히 총독에게 나갔다. 핍박 중에도 믿는 자가 나온다. 거짓된 자들은 눈에 보이는 것을 막는다.
3. 결단과 적용
무덤을 막아도 믿는 자들은 무덤이 열리고 예수의 부활을 믿고 핍박자들을 두려워하지 않는다. 거짓된 사람들은 진리의 입을 막으려 하나 때가 되면 진리는 드러난다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 거짓으로 나의 입을 막은 자들이 많았으나 오늘까지 입을 다물고 부활의 주님을 앙망하며 살게 하시니 감사합니다. 거짓으로 내 입을 막아도 하나님의 때에 하나님의 방법으로 진리가 드러나게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘The tomb can be sealed, but resurrection cannot’
Mt. 27:57–66
1. Observation and Meditation
Joseph of Arimathea publicly revealed his identity as a follower of Christ by boldly requesting Jesus’ body to bury in his own new tomb. Meanwhile, at the request of the high priests and Pharisees, Pilate assigned guards to watch the tomb and sealed it, attempting to prevent any further "deception."
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
While Jesus’ own disciples fled in fear, Joseph of Arimathea stepped forward with courage. This reminds me that true believers are often revealed in times of persecution. The wicked focus only on burying what is visible; they believe that by sealing a stone, they can suppress the Spirit. But man’s efforts to contain God are always in vain.
3. Decisions and Applications
Though the world attempts to seal the tomb, the believer rests in the promise of the resurrection, which casts out all fear of persecutors. The wicked may try to silence the voice of Truth, but Truth has a way of revealing itself in power. I choose to trust in the "unsealable" power of God rather than fearing the "seals" of man.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I thank You for empowering me to remain steadfast. Help me to stay in peaceful silence, casting my anchor of faith in You even when I face false accusations or blame. Lord, I trust You to reveal Your truth in Your perfect time and in Your own way, even as I endure these afflictions in silence. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
