‘만국을 다스리는 하나님의 심판’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 강대국 바벨론 을 들어 두로 를 쳤다. 하나님의 뜻에 순종한 바벨론 에게 애굽을 상급으로 주었다. 애굽에 “여호와의 날” 심판을 예언했다. 애굽과 동맹국이 황폐할 것이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
애굽 옆에 있던 이디오피아 (구스) 가 두려워 떨 것이다. 애굽과 동맹하면 그들도 멸망한다. 악하고 교만한 자와 하나되면 그가 망할 때 나도 망한다.
3. 결단과 적용
하나님의 심판을 보고 여호와가 만국을 다스리시는 하나님이심을 선포한다. 애굽이 망한 것처럼 애굽과 함께 한 구스 도 두려워 떨 것이다. 나는 오직 하나님과만 동맹을 맺으며 산다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 오늘도 주님만 의지하고 함께 합니다. 두로, 애굽, 그와 동맹한자 들처럼 심판 받아 황폐한 사막이 되는 일이 없게 도와 주소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘God's Judgment Over All Nations’
Ezekiel 29:17–30:9
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God used the great empire of Babylon to strike Tyre. To Babylon, who obeyed His will, God gave Egypt as a reward. He then prophesied the judgment of the "Day of the Lord" upon Egypt, declaring that both Egypt and its allies would be laid waste.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Ethiopia (Cush), which neighbor's Egypt, will tremble in fear. Those who ally themselves with Egypt will perish along with it. If I align myself with the wicked and the proud, I too will fall when they fall.
3. Decisions and applications
Seeing God's judgment, I proclaim that Jehovah is the God who rules over all nations. Just as Egypt was destroyed, Cush, who stood with Egypt, will tremble in fear. I will live my life allied only with God.
Today's Prayer
Lord, today I rely on You alone and walk with You. Help me so that I may never face judgment or become a desolate desert like Tyre, Egypt, and those allied with them. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
