‘유월절 어린양의 피로 세운 새 언약’
본문 관찰과 묵상
예루살렘 성 안의 큰 다락방에서 예수는 제자들과 함께 이 땅에서의 마지막 유월절을 지켰다. 짐승의 피를 대신해 예수의 살과 피를 제자들에게 나누어 주며 새 언약을 세우셨다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
가룟 유다의 배신 (시 41:9)은 죄인 된 우리 모두의 배신이다. 의인은 없나니 하나도 없다(롬 3:10,23). 구 언약은 짐승의 피를 뿌림으로 (출 24:8), 새 언약의 표는 아닌 예수의 살과 보혈이다.
결단과 적용
예수의 대속적인 십자가의 죽으심으로 나의 죄가 씻겨지고 그 살인 말씀을 먹음으로 나는 새 언약의 종이 되었다. 나의 의가 아닌 그리스도의 의로 새 사람이 되었으니 화목하게 하는 직분과 화목하게 하는 말씀을 오늘도 증거하며 살리라

Observation and meditation on the text
In a large room upstairs in Jerusalem, Jesus had the last Passover Meal in this world with his disciples. Instead of using the imperfect blood of animal, Jesus established the New Covenant by the sinless perfect flesh and the blood of the Passover Lamb Jesus Christ.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The betrayal of Judas Iscariot was prophesied by the psalmist (Ps 41:9), which shall be the betrayal of all human beings. There is no righteous man even one (Rom 3:10, 23). The Old Covenant was established by sprinkling animal’s blood on the altar and people by Moses (Exo 24:8), but the New Covenant was established by the flesh and blood of the Passover Lamb Jesus Christ.
Decisions and applications
I have become a servant of the New Covenant. My sins have been expunged by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross, and by eating his flesh, which is his word. Since I have become a new creation by his righteousness of grace, instead of my self-righteousness by the law, I will keep on preaching the message of reconciliation through my ministry of reconciliation.
