‘주인 없는 빈집은 갈수록 나빠진다’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
요나 선지자가 3일을 큰 물고기 뱃속에 있었던 것과 같이 예수도 3일간 땅속에 있을 표적을 말했다. 예수를 주인으로 모시지 않은 자는 악령으로 채워질 것이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
인간의 삶에 영적인 진공상태는 없다. 예수가 주인이 되지 않으면 악령이 점령한다. 그러므로 아버지의 뜻을 따르는 믿는 자 들이 영적인 한 가족이 되어 악한 영을 물리쳐야 한다.
3. 결단과 적용
“너희는 믿음 안에 있는가 너희 자신을 시험하고 너희 자신을 확증하라 예수 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계신 줄을 너희가 스스로 알지 못하느냐 그렇지 않으면 너희는 버림받은 자니라” (고후 13:5). 내 안에 예수님을 모시고 나도 예수와 함께 옛 사람을 십자가에 못박아 버리고 예수와 함께 부활하여 예수의 표적이 내 삶의 표적이 되어 살아가리라!
오늘의 기도
주여 내 죄를 대신 지시고 십자가에서 죽으사 나의 죄값을 치러 대속해 주심을 감사 드립니다. 내 마음이 빈 집 되지 않게 내 심령에 주인으로 임하소서! 주님이 기뻐 하시는 영혼 구원을 위해 하나님께 순종하는 영적인 가족들과 더불어 증인으로 살게 하소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Unoccupied heart will be getting worse’
Mt. 12:38-50
1. Observation and Meditation
Just as Jonah spent three days and nights in the belly of a huge fish, Jesus declared He would be in the heart of the earth for three days and nights—the ultimate sign of His Messiahship. He warns that a life is like a house; if it remains "unoccupied" by the Spirit of Christ, it does not stay empty. Instead, it becomes vulnerable to even greater evil. There is no such thing as a neutral heart.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
The Lord is teaching me that there is no spiritual vacuum in human life. If my heart is not intentionally occupied by Jesus, it will inevitably be claimed by darkness. To prevent this, those who do the will of God must stand together as a spiritual family, remaining filled with the Spirit to ensure no room is left for the enemy.
3. Decisions and Applications
I am struck by 2 Corinthians 13:5: “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” I am determined to make the "Sign of Jesus" my own. I will do this by daily crucifying my old nature so that I may fully participate in His resurrection life.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I praise You with deep thanksgiving for Your redemptive death on the cross, which paid the debt of my sins. Please reside in my innermost being as my Lord and Master. Occupy every corner of my heart so that nothing else can find a home there. Empower me by Your Holy Spirit to witness for You, leading lost souls to Your light alongside my spiritual family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
