‘강물을 흐리게 한 악어 같은 바로의 최후’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
바로 왕은 사자가 아니라 나일강을 흐리게 한 악어다. 하나님은 바로 왕을 잡아 들판에 던져 짐승의 먹이가 되게 한다. 바벨론 왕의 칼이 임해 죽을 때 조가 를 불러 만국에 경고한다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
바로 왕이 심판 받아 죽을 때 애굽은 사막이 된다. 애굽의 교만이 폐하면 하나님이 강물이 맑게 하여 기름같이 흐르게 회복시킨다. 강물을 흐리게 한 자는 심판 받는다.
3. 결단과 적용
공동체에 맑게 흐르는 강물과 하늘의 빛을 막아 어둡게 하여 교만으로 공동체를 깨트리는 바로 왕 같은 리더는 하나님의 심판을 받는다. 교만은 패망의 선봉이다.

주여, 성령의 능력으로 공동체에 맑은 물이 다시 흐르게 하소서. 악어같이 공동체의 영성을 파괴하는 거짓 선지자를 드러내 만민에 경고가 되게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘The End of the Pharaoh Who Churns the Nile’
Ezekiel 32:1–16
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God addresses Pharaoh not as a majestic lion, but as a destructive monster in the sea churning the waters of the Nile. God declares that He will capture Pharaoh and hurl him into the open field to be consumed by scavengers. When Babylon’s sword falls on him, the surrounding nations will sing a funeral song over Egypt—a solemn warning to all who rely on human pride.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Pharaoh’s pride ultimately turns a prosperous land into a desolate wasteland. Yet God promises that after judging this arrogance, He will cause the muddy waters to settle and flow smoothly like oil. A leader who brings chaos, muddying the peace of a community, cannot stand against God’s judgment.
3. Decisions and applications
I must guard against pride in my own heart and leadership. Distracting others, muddying spiritual clarity, or blocking God’s light in a community carries heavy consequences. Pride is always a shortcut to downfall.
Today's Prayer
Lord, bring peace and restoration to the Antioch community. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, let our waters settle and our streams flow smoothly like oil. Expose and remove any divisive spirit or self-serving leadership that threatens the unity of Your church, making it a clear reminder to all of Your holiness and truth. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
