‘곡이 망한 곳이 택한 자의 축제의 장’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 곡 과 그를 따르는 자들을 멸망 시킨다. 그 곳을 하몬곡, 곡의 무리가 묻힌 골짜기라 한다. 그리고 하나님은 그 곳에서 택한 자들이 모여 축제를 열게 하신다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
마귀와 졸개들은 하나님의 손에 망한다. 이스라엘의 산 위에 예비한 큰 잔치는 택한 자를 위한 잔치다. 하나님의 심판은 불신자는 지옥, 믿는 자는 천국을 주신다.
3. 결단과 적용
이 시대에 주님이 베푸시는 잔치에 주시는 살과 피는 원수의 살과 피가 아니다. 나를 위해 죽으신 예수의 살과 피다. 예수의 말씀과 성령의 잔을 마실 때 나는 매일 천국을 산다.
오늘의 기도
“내 살을 먹고 내 피를 마시는 자는 영생을 가졌고 마지막 날에 내가 그를 다시 살리리니 내 살은 참된 양식이요 내 피는 참된 음료니라” (요 6:54-55). 오늘도 말씀과 성령을 먹고 마시며 영생을 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Hamon Gog will be the place of feast for the chosen’
Ezekiel 39:11–20
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God destroys Gog and his followers in the Valley of Hamon Gog, where the wicked are buried. Following this judgment, God invites His chosen people and prepares a great festival for them.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Satan and his rebellious followers will ultimately be destroyed by God’s righteous judgment. The festival that God prepares on the mountains of Israel is exclusively for the chosen. Ultimately, unbelievers will face condemnation, while believers inherit the Kingdom of God.
3. Decisions and applications
In the prophecy of Ezekiel, the flesh and blood provided in the valley belonged to the defeated wicked enemies. However, at the spiritual feast God has prepared for us today, He provides the precious flesh and blood of Jesus Christ, who died in our place. As I partake in the body and blood of Jesus, I receive His life and live out the Kingdom of God right now.
Today's Prayer
“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.” John 6:54–56
Lord, let me experience and live out eternal life today as I feed on Your Word and commune with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
