‘상처 주는 사람과 치료하는 예수’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
시각장애인2 사람이 예수께 나와 고쳐달라고 외쳤다. 무리들은 저들을 꾸짖었다. 그러나 2 맹인은 계속 주님께 간구했고 주님은 저들을 고쳤다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
내가 고침 받지 못하게 나를 무시하는 무리 때문에 마음 상할 때가 많다. 무리가 나를 고치는 것이 아니다. 나를 고치시는 예수께 끝까지 나간다.
3. 결단과 적용
“내 이름으로 일컫는 내 백성이 그들의 악한 길에서 떠나 스스로 낮추고 기도하여 내 얼굴을 찾으면 내가 하늘에서 듣고 그들의 죄를 사하고 그들의 땅을 고칠지라” (대하 7:14). 사람이 나를 고치지 못한다. 예수께 부르짖는다.
오늘의 기도
“너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 기이한 일을 알게 하리라” (렘 33:3). 말씀에 의지하여 오직 주님께 간구합니다. 오늘도 나를 치료하셔서 보지 못하던 것들을 보게 하시고 듣지 못하던 것들을 듣게 하소서 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Those Who Hurt vs. Jesus Who Heals’
Mt. 20:29-34
1. Observation and Meditation
Two blind men cried out to Jesus, pleading for Him to heal them. Instead of showing compassion, the crowd rebuked them and told them to be silent. However, the men refused to be silenced; they cried out even louder. In the end, it was Jesus who stopped, moved with compassion, and touched their eyes to heal them.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
I recognize that I have been hurt many times by the "unbelieving crowd"—those who look down on me or dismiss my pain. This text reminds me that the crowd does not hold the power to fix my problems or define my worth. I must continue to seek Jesus, my true Healer, regardless of the noise or opposition from the world around me.
3. Decisions and Applications
I am reminded of the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Healing does not come from the approval of others; it comes from Christ alone. Therefore, I decide today to drown out the voices of the crowd and cry out to the Lord with persistence.
Today's Prayer
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
Lord, I hear Your voice and choose to obey You today. Heal me, Lord, so that my spiritual eyes may be opened to see what I could not see before, and my ears opened to hear what I have never heard. I trust in Your compassion over the judgment of the world.
