‘레위지파의 사명은 영적 파수꾼’

본문관찰과 묵상     

     유다지파를 비롯한 여러 지파가 레위지파가 살 수 있는 성읍과 목초지를 주었다.   특징은 도피성이 있는 곳이었다.  또한 예루살렘 성전이 지어질 곳과 가까운 곳이었다. 

QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성

      이 시대에 택함 받고 구원받은 나는 영적인 레위지파다.  나의 사명은 영적인 파수꾼이다.  하나님의 말씀을 공의와 정의로 가르쳐야 한다.  성도들이 말씀인 하나님중심의 삶을 살게해야 한다. 

결단과 적용

     ‘너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하시이라 너희가 전에는 백성이 아니더니 이제는 하나님의 백성 이요 전에는 긍휼을 받지 못하였더니 이제는 긍휼을 얻은 자니라’ (벧전 2:9-10).  나는 영적인 파수꾼의 사명을 받은자다.

Observation and meditation on the text

    Judah and several other tribes obeyed God and gave a portion of their towns and pastureland, which included the cities of refuge.  At the same time, it was near Jerusalem where the temple of God should be established in the future. 

I hear the voice of the Lord through QT

     I am also a spiritual Levite of today who has been chosen and saved by God.  I am also called to be a spiritual watchman for this generation.  I must teach the just and righteous words of God.  I must help people to live according to the words, God-centered life.  

Decisions and applications

     ‘You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.  Once you were not a people, but now you’re the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy’ (I Pet. 2:9-10).  Yes, I am called to be a spiritual watchman for this generation as a spiritual Levi.
