‘내가 하나님을 찬양하는 이유’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
나에게 베푸시는 인자와 긍휼에 찬양과 감사를 드린다. 내가 고통 중에 기도할 때마다 응답하시고 자유를 주시는 내 편이 되어 나를 돕는 주님을 찬양한다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
사람에게서 받는 인정과 사랑은 유한함을 깨닫고 산다. 그러나 나를 향한 주님의 인자는 어제나 오늘이나 영원히 한결같아 찬양과 감사를 드린다.
3. 결단과 적용
나를 사랑하는 주님의 인자가 무궁하시듯이 주님을 향한 나의 사랑도 고난속에서도 변치 않으리라.
오늘의 기도
내가 원하는 대로 다 허락하지 않으시는 주님의 인자는 NO를 통하여 나를 바른길로 인도하신다. 응답 없음이 어떤 때는 진짜 응답이 된다. 응답이 없을 때도 신실하신 주님을 찬양하며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Reasons why I praise the Lord’
Ps. 117:1–118:7
1. Observation and meditation on the text
I praise the Lord with thanksgiving for His steadfast love and mercy toward me. I praise Him because He stays by my side and answers my prayers during times of affliction, freeing me from many difficult predicaments.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I have realized that human love is always limited and conditional. God's love for me, however, is the same yesterday, today, and forever. This unchanging grace is the ultimate reason I praise Him with a thankful heart.
3. Decisions and applications
Because God’s love for me is steadfast, my commitment to Him should also remain unchanging, even in times of suffering.
Today's Prayer
Lord, Your love sometimes says "No" to my wishes, which ultimately guides me down the right path. I realize now that an unanswered prayer is often Your truest answer. Empower me and give me strength, so that I may continually praise Your steadfast love—even when You choose to remain silent. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
