‘위로를 넘어 부활의 믿음으로 살라!’
본문 관찰과 묵상
소요가 그친후 바울을 에베소를 떠나 마게도냐로, 그리고 그리스까지 가서 3달동안 복음을 전했다. 해하려는 자들을 피해 마게도냐의 빌립보로갔다. 수리아까지 가려는 팀원들은 먼저 드로아로 가서 바울을 기다렸다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
빌립보에서 배로 5일만에 드로아로 가서 팀원들과 함께 7일을 머물렀다. 떠나기 전날 밤 밤새도록 설교하는데 유두고 라는 청년이 졸아 3층에서 떨어져 죽었다. 바울이 그 몸을 안고 다시 살렸다. 드로아의 사람들이 청년이 다시 산 것을 보고 큰 위로를 받았다.
결단과 적용
수많은 기사와 이적이 바울을 통하여 일어났다. 그 기적을 통하여 위로받고 끝난 사람들이 얼마나 많았을까? 유대인은 표적을 구하고 헬라인은 지혜를 찾으나 우리는 십자가에서 죽고 부활하신 예수님을 믿는다. 복음은 기쁜소식이다. 위로받는데서 그치지 말고 부활의 산 믿음으로 살리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
After the uproar Paul left Ephesus and went to Macedonia to preach many places there and reached Greece. There he preached the gospel for 3 months. Paul avoided the feasible conflict with the Jews so he went to Macedonia on foot instead of by ship and reached Philippi. He sent the mission team who was on the way to Syria to Troas to wait for Paul there.
Decisions and applications
It took 5 days for Paul to reach Troas by ship and he joined with the team and stayed there for a week. One night before the departure day he preached on and on all night long and one young man Eutychus fell to the ground from the 3rd floor and died. Paul embraced him and revived him. The people were comforted by the fact that the young man was revived.
Decisions and applications
Many miracles and wonders were performed by Paul. Countless people must have been blessed and comforted by the miracles. However, even though the Jews seek for miracles and Greeks search for wisdom, we Christians believe in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the good tidings. However, I will live by faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ beyond receiving comfort from the gospel.
