‘구원받은 자의 새로운 삶의 특징들’
본문관찰과 묵상
나는 사망에서 생명으로, 마귀의 자녀에서 하나님의 자녀로, 죄인에서 의인으로 구원받았다. 구원받은 자의 삶은 내가 용서받은 것처럼 남을 용서하고 사랑해 주는 것이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
구원받은 자는 나를 드러내는 것이 아니라 구원자 예수님을 전하는 자다. 그러므로 나의 삶은 내가 죽어짐으로써 다른 사람을 살리는 삶이 되어야 한다. 이는 말뿐이 아닌 진실된 행함이다.
결단과 적용
사도 바울은 “내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이라”(빌 1:21)고 고백했다. 또한 “그런즉 사망은 우리 안에서 역사하고 생명은 너희 안에서 역사하느니라”(고후 4:12)고 하였다. “한 알의 밀알이 땅에 떨어져 죽지 아니하면 한 알 그대로 있고 죽으면 많은 열매를 맺느니라”(요 12:24). 오늘도 나는 주님 안에서 잠잠히 죽어 누군가를 살리는 열매 맺는 삶을 살아가고자 한다. 주여 나를 도우소서!

Observation and meditation on the text
I have been saved from eternal death to eternal life, from being a child of Satan to becoming a child of God, and from a sinner to a righteous person. My new life is defined by forgiving and loving my enemies, just as I have been forgiven and loved by God.
Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
As someone who is saved, I should witness only to Jesus, not to myself. Therefore, my life is defined by saving others through “dying to myself.” This is not done merely through lip service, but through true and genuine deeds in my daily life.
Decisions and Applications
The Apostle Paul declared, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Phil. 1:21). He also said, “So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you” (2 Cor. 4:12). Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (Jn. 12:24). Therefore, today I will silently die to myself to restore someone else's life by witnessing to my Lord, Jesus Christ.
