‘믿음의 청년이 선택해야 할 복된 길’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
청년의 특징은 좋은 일이든지 나쁜 일이든지 그 일에 대한 결단력이 있고 실행력이 있다. 이 때에 가장 복된 길은 주의 계명을 지키는 것이다. 계명을 지키면 계명이 내 삶을 지킨다. 범죄하지 않는다. 주의 법을 사모하고 즐거워하면 복이 임한다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
법이 없으면 죄에 대한 의식도 없다. 하나님의 계명 앞에 서면 내가 죄인인 것을 깨닫는다. 율법의 기능은 죄를 깨닫고 회개하고 죄 사하시는 예수께로 인도해 준다.
3. 결단과 적용
그래서 나는 오늘도 청년의 결단력과 실행력을 동원하여 주의 말씀과 법을 사모하며 지키며 산다. 그 계명이 나의 삶과 행실을 바르게 하며 나를 예수께로 늘 인도해 주기 때문이다.
오늘의 기도
“이로 보건대 율법은 거룩하고 계명도 거룩하고 의로 우며 선하도다” (롬 7:12). 율법으로 말미암아 내가 죄를 깨닫고 회개하게 되었으니 (롬 7:7) 오늘도 계명을 지켜 내 삶이 예수안에서 바르게 지켜지게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘The young man’s best choice for blessings’
Ps. 119:1-16
1. Observation and meditation on the text
Characteristics of a young person are strong determination and the drive to execute their plans whether it is good or not. The best and biblical determination a young person can have is to keep the law of God. When I guard God's law, it guards my life and keeps me from sin. If I truly pant for His Word and delight in it, I will experience the fullness of God's blessings.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Where there is no law, there is no awareness of sin. It is only when measured against God's law that I recognize I am a sinner who has fallen short. The true purpose of the law is to reveal my sin so that I am led to repentance, guiding me toward the true path of righteousness found only in Jesus Christ.
3. Decisions and applications
Today, I will pursue God’s Word with pure determination, panting for His law as the deer pants for streams of water. I believe that as the law convicts me, it will also guard my life by continually leading me back to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
Today's Prayer
Lord, your Word reminds me that "the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good" (Rom. 7:12), for it is through the law that I recognize my need to repent (Rom. 7:7). Help me to cherish and keep your law today. May it guard my heart and direct my steps to Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
