‘누가 무엇으로 세상을 이기나?’
본문관찰과 묵상
성령을 통해 예수님을 믿고 거듭난 사람은 예수 님을 진심으로 믿고 사랑한다. 하나님을 사랑하는 사람은 마땅히 그의 계명을 지킨다. 예수께서 그리스도이심을 믿는 자는 그 믿음 으로 세상을 이긴다. 하나님이 물과 피와 성령으로 오신 예수를 친히 증언하셨 기에, 우리는 그 증거를 통해 더욱 확실히 믿는다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
사람이 나를 위해 증언해 주는 것도 큰 복인데, 하물며 하나님께서 친히 물과 피와 성령으로 오신 성육신 하신 예수 그리스도를 증언해 준다. 그분을 믿는 자는 그 믿음으로 세상을 이길 힘을 얻는다. 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고, 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없다. 내 안에 예수 그리스도의 생명이 있기에 나는 오늘도 세상을 넉넉히 이길 수 있다.
결단과 적용
"예수께서 이르시되 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명 이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라" (요 14: 6) “나의 계명을 지키는 자라야 나를 사랑하는 자니 나를 사랑하는 자는 내 아버지께 사랑을 받을 것이요 나도 그를 사랑하여 그에게 나를 나타내리라" (요 14:21). 나는 오늘도 주님을 뜨겁게 사랑하며 그분의 계명을 기쁨으로 지킨다. 내 삶의 현장에서 예수 그리스도를 담대히 증거하며 살아간다!

Observation and meditation on the text
If I am born again by believing in Jesus, I will naturally love Him. If I love Jesus, I will keep his commands. By believing that Jesus is my Savior, Lord and Christ, I overcome the world through faith. God himself tests Jesus Christ through three witnesses: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. Because of God’s testimony is far greater than any human testimony, we can rest securely in His truth.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
While human testimony is a blessing. Gods’ testimony regarding the incarnate Jesus-validated by the Spirit, the water and the blood-is infinitely more powerful. By believing in Jesus, I am empowered to overcome the world I can overcome the world through faith. Having the Son means having eternal life; without him there is no life. Because I possess this life in Christ, I have the strength to overcome.
Decisions and applications
Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’ (Jn. 14:6). He also teaches, “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them” (Jn 14:27). I will demonstrate my love for Jesus by keeping his commands. And I will be a witness for Jesus in my everyday life. Sharing the life He has given me.
