‘위기를 기회로 바꾸는 자가 승리한다’
본문관찰과 묵상
모세가 죽은 것은 이스라엘의 위기였다. 젊은 후계자 여호수아 에게도 위기였다. 모세 같은 경험도 노하우도 없었다. 그러나 하나 님이 함께 하심을 약속했다. 강하고 담대한 믿음만 있으면 된다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나를 믿으면 기회가 위기가 된다. 하나님을 믿으면 위기가 기회가 된다. 강하고 담대함은 하나님이 성령을 통해 주시는 능력이다. 성령의 충만함을 받으면 나는 믿음의 강한자가 된다.
결단과 적용
새 시대를 열고 새 시대를 섬기려면 강하고 담대함을 주시는 하나님을 믿어야 한다. ‘하나님이 우리에게 주시는 것은 두려워 하는 마음이 아니고 오직 능력과 사랑과 절제하는 마음이니’ (딤후 1:7). ‘오직 성령이 너희에게 임하시면 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 유대와 사마리아와 땅끝까지 이르러 내 증인이 되리라’ (행 1:8). 성령충만 함으로 강하고 담대하게 전진하리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Crises fell upon Israel upon the death of Moses. It was another crisis to a young leader Joshua too, because he did not have such great leadership and know how as Moses. However, God guaranteed to be with him. To Joshua it was enough for him to ‘be strong and courageous’ to trust in God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
If I rely on myself only, chances may become crises. If I trust in God my crises change into chances. It is the Holy Spirit who enables me to ‘be strong and courageous.’ If I am filled with the Holy spirit, I may become a giant of faith in God.
Decisions and applications
If I want to open a new era and serve the new generation, I must believe in God who enables me to be strong and courageous. ‘The Spirit of God does not gave us make us timid, but give us power, love and self-control.’ (II Tim. 1:7). ‘You will receive the power when the Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth’ (Acts. 1:8). I will keep on marching forward with strength and boldness by being filled with the Holy Spirit!
