‘선교사로 부르신 주께 충성하라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
첫째, 주가 내게 행하신 일을 만민에게 전파한다. 둘째, 택함 받아 이방인의 땅을 선물로 받은 은혜를 잊지 않고 선포한다. 셋째, 디아스포라로 흩어졌으니 전하라.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
요셉에게 꿈을 주고 종으로 팔려 감옥에 도 갇혔으나 말씀으로 연단 받은 후 애굽의 총리가 되어 많은 나라와 백성들을 살렸다. 요셉은 예수의 모형이다.
3. 결단과 적용
남플로리다 감리교회가 3일 집회 동안 큰 은혜를 체험하고 성도들이 선교적 삶을 살기로 결단하였다. 요셉같이 많은 영혼을 살리기 위해 그리스도 예수에게 인도하며 살리라.
오늘의 기도
나를 택하시고 구원하신 주님을 송축한다. 구원자 하나님의 이름을 만방에 선포하는 선교사로 부르셨으니 나를 사용하여 주소서. 고난속에서 정금이 되어 나오게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Witness for Jesus, who has saved you’
Ps. 105:1–22
1. Observation and Meditation
I am called to witness to all nations, sharing the great things God has done for me. I must never forget that the lands and blessings I enjoy are gifts from God, and I should testify to His faithfulness. Since God has placed me in various locations throughout my life, I will use these opportunities to witness for Jesus wherever I am.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
The Lord gave Joseph a vision, yet he was subsequently sold into slavery. Despite these hardships, God used Joseph to save many nations and His own people by raising him to the position of Prime Minister in Egypt. In this way, Joseph serves as a typology of Jesus Christ—one who suffered before being exalted to save humanity.
3. Decisions and Applications
South Florida Methodist Church has experienced unprecedented blessings over the last three days. They have decided to live as missionaries in our daily lives. Following Joseph’s example, I commit to leading as many people as possible to Jesus Christ so they may experience His salvation.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I praise You for choosing me and delivering me from eternal death. Use me as Your missionary to witness for Your name as Savior throughout the world. Purify me through my afflictions so that I may emerge as pure gold. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
