‘무엇이 나를 온유한 자가 되게 하나?’
본문 관찰과 묵상
모세가 구스 여인과 결혼하자 미리암과 아론이 비방했다. 모세는 온유하여 잠잠했다. 하나님이 세사람을 회막으로 불렀다. 선지자와는 환상과 꿈으로 계시하나 모세는 대면해서 말한다 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님은 미리암과 아론에게 하나님이 세운 모세를 비방하지 말라고 책망했다. 온유한 모세는 비방을 참았다. 미리암과 아론은 질투를 폭발했다. 온유한 예수는 나 위해 죽기까지 희생했다.
결단과 적용
나는 예수를 닮아가며 살아야 한다. 모세도 살인할 정도로 성격이 강했다. 40년 광야의 연단속에 온유한자로 예수의 모형이 되었다. 신의성품은 온유함이다. 오늘도 주님을 닮아 억울하고 화도 나지만 끝까지 인내한다. 십자가 지고 예수님이 가신 그 길을 조용히 간다.

Observation and meditation on the text
When Moses married a Cushite woman, Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses. However, Moses remained in silence because he was meek. God called three of them to come to the tent of meeting. God spoke to them that he spoke to prophets in vision or in speech in dreams, but with Moses God said that he spoke to Moses face to face clearly, not in riddles.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God rebuked Miriam and Aaron because they criticized Moses, who was God’s servant. Meek and humble Moses endured their criticism. However, Miriam and Aaron busted their anger out of jealousy to Moses. Meek and humble Jesus obeyed God enough to be crucified to save me.
Decisions and applications
I must live by imitating of Jesus. Moses was very impetuous and impulsive enough to kill an Egyptian. However, 40 years of spiritual training in the wilderness transformed Moses to be a typology of Jesus. One of divine nature of God is humility and meekness. I practice Jesus’ character of longsuffering in the middle of unfair treatment and extrem anger caused by it. I simply take up my cross and quietly live the way of Jesus’ cross.
