‘이 세상에서 가장 불쌍한 자’

1. 본문 관찰과 묵상

이 세상에서 가장 불쌍한 자는 부활을 믿지 않는 자다.  부활이 없다면 전도, 믿음도 헛것이요 우리는 거짓 증인이다.  부활이 없다면 예수도 부활하지 못했을 것이다.    

2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성

부활을 믿지 않고 그리스도안 에서 내가 바라는 것이 이 세상의 것 뿐이라면 모든 사람 가운 데 내가 가장 불쌍한 사람이 될 것이다.

3. 결단과 적용 

나는 부활을 믿는다.  내가 죽어도 부활하신 예수님을 만나 주와 함께 영생의 축복을 누릴 것이다.  이 세상에 잠시 있다 없어지는 것들을 위해 살지 않는다.    

오늘의 기도

주여, 이 세상에 잠시 있다 없어질 것에 내 생애 를 낭비하지 않게 하소서.  죽은 후에 부활하여 천국에서 주님 과 영원히 살게 하소서.  예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.  아멘. 

‘The one who is most to be pitied of all’

I Co. 15:12-19

1. Observation and Meditation

The person most to be pitied is the one who does not believe in the resurrection. If the dead are not raised, then our preaching is useless and so is our faith. Furthermore, if Christ has not been raised, our faith is futile, and we are found to be false witnesses.

2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT

If I do not believe in the resurrection, and if our hope in Christ is only for this present life, then I am of all people most to be pitied.

3. Decisions and Applications

I truly believe in the resurrection. I believe that I will meet Jesus upon my death, and that I will enjoy everlasting life in Christ Jesus when I am raised. Therefore, I choose not to live for the temporary, visible things of this world.

Today's Prayer

Lord, help me not to waste my precious life on the temporary, visible things of this world. When my earthly life ends and I am raised again, welcome me into Your kingdom to live in everlasting life with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
