‘내가 받을 권리를 내려놓는 사도’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
군인도 농부도 목자도 열심히 일한 대가를 받고 산다. 그러나 주의 사도된 바울은 그 권리를 포기했다. 바울이 사도된 것을 인친 고린도교회 성도들은 이를 알리라.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나도 30년 목회를 자원하는 기쁜 마음으로 섬겼다. 아내는 과로가 원인이 되어 천국에 갔다. 나의 권리를 다 포기하고 교회에 드렸다. 가볍게 살아간다.
3. 결단과 적용
내가 당연히 받아야 할 권리를 스스로 포기한 이유는 주의 도구로 쓰임 받은 것 자체가 감사해서다. 나도, 성도들도 이를 알리라. 모르는 자들이 프레임을 씌운다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 은퇴후에도 쓰임받는 것 자체가 내게는 축복이요 은혜입니다. 그래서 당연히 주장해야 할 권리도 내려 놓았습니다. 끝까지 감사로 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Paul who gave up his right to be served’
I Co. 9:1–10
1. Observation and Meditation
Soldiers, farmers, and shepherds receive rewards in proportion to their service. However, the Lord’s apostle, Paul, gave up his rights. The Corinthian Christians, who were the seal of his apostleship, knew this in the Lord.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
I have served for 30 years in pastoral ministry with great joy and willingness. My wife passed away due to overwork, which led to other illnesses. I gave up my rewards and dedicated them to the Church. Because of this, I live with a light heart.
3. Decisions and Applications
The reason I gave up my reward is out of thankfulness to the Lord, who granted me the privilege to serve Him. Both the church members and I are aware of this. However, those who do not understand it try to frame me falsely.
Today's Prayer
Lord, it is my great privilege, blessing, and a sign of Your grace that I am still being used by You even after retirement. Therefore, I have given up my right to be rewarded by people. Help me, Lord, to live with this thankfulness until the very end. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
