‘아버지의 심장과 심정으로 살라!’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
바울은 스승이 아닌 아버지로 고린도교회의 어린 신앙인들을 권면한다. 복음으로 낳은 어린 자식들은 교만으로 지혜롭고 존귀하게 여기나 아버지는 참아주며 산다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
어린 자식들을 위해 아비는 만물 의 찌끼처럼 산다. 모욕 받을수록 더 축복하고 박해 받으면 참는 자신을 본받아 성숙하라고 권면한다.
3. 결단과 적용
“하나님의 나라는 말에 있지 않고 능력에 있음이라” (고전 4:20). 바울은 교만한 자를 만나 능력이 있는지 알아보며 매 대신 사랑과 온유함으로 철없는 어린 자식들에게 가기 원한다.

주여 오늘도 아비의 심장으로 어린아이 같은 성도 들을 사랑과 온유한 심정으로 대하며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Live with the Heart and Mind of a Father’
I Co. 4:9–21
1. Observation and Meditation
In this passage, Paul moves beyond the role of a mere teacher to discipline the Corinthian church with the heart of a father. While the "infant" Christians in Corinth boast of their own wisdom and honor, Paul and Jesus patiently endure their arrogance. Paul highlights the contrast between the pride of the world and the humility of the Gospel.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
Paul describes himself as the "garbage of the world" for the sake of these spiritual infants. His response to mistreatment is revolutionary: when insulted, he blesses; when persecuted, he endures. He does not simply give instructions; he urges them to imitate his life. Paul seeks to discern whether those living in pride possess the actual power of God or merely empty words.
3. Decisions and Applications
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power” (1 Cor. 4:20). I am reminded that true spiritual authority is found in love, not just in arguments. I choose to approach others with a gentle spirit rather than a "rod" of discipline. My goal is to move beyond religious talk and instead demonstrate the power of God through a transformed life.
Today's Prayer
Lord, empower me today to interact with everyone I meet through the heart and mind of a father. Help me to embrace others with love and a gentle spirit, reflecting Your patience. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
