‘경건함으로 박해를 받을 때’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님께 순종하는 자는 박해를 받는다. 검증해야 이긴다. 첫째, 내가 검증된 사람에게 배웠나? 둘째, 성령의 감동으로 기록된 성경 말씀에 맞나? 셋째, 전에 있던 선지자들도 똑 같이 고난을 당했다. 즉, 믿는 자의 박해는 당연한 것이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
바울은 디모데 에게 ‘복음’을 ‘바른 말,’ ‘아름다운 입금’ 이라고 했다. 성경말씀은 오류가 없다. 그 말씀을 믿고 순종하면 내 삶이 오류와 악성종양에서 치유 받고 ‘온전함’ 에 이른다.
결단과 적용
그래서 예수는 산상수훈에서 제자들에게 새 언약의 말씀을 주고 ‘하늘에 계신 아버지의 온전하심 같이 너희도 온전 하라’(마 5:48). 온전함이란 하나님의 완벽함을 의미하는 것이 아니다. 구별됨이다. 나를 저주하고 박해하는 자도 미워하지 않고 품어주고 용서하는 것 이다. 그러나 악한 영은 대적하여 쫓아냄으로 그 영혼을 구해야 한다. 악한 영과는 타협하면 안된다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The obedient to God is persecuted by unbelievers. I am called to discern myself to overcome. First, have I been taught by leaders who are quailed? Second, are the issues right according to the Bible? Third, if I am godly, then Jesus reminds me of the prophets who were persecuted in the past too, which means it is natural for the believers.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Paul said to Timothy in the previous chapter that the gospel is ‘the right word,’ ‘the good deposit,’ which means it is inerrant. If I obey and obedient to it, my life will be healed from falsehood and gangrene and reach perfection.
Decisions and applications
As Jesus gave his disciples the new covenant in his sermon on the mountain he challenged them, ‘Therefore, be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect’ (Matt 5:48). Here perfection never means sinless perfection of but consecration of myself. I am set apart to embrace and forgive those who persecute and hate me. However, at the same time I am called to drive evil spirit out of them so that my persecutor may be set free from demon possession to be saved. I am called never to compromise with the evil spirit, but resist him!
