‘부흥의 목적은 예수와 하나되는 거룩함이라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님 말씀대로 에스겔은 “유다와 그 짝 이스라엘”이라 쓴 막대기, 또 “에브라임과 그 짝 이스라엘” 이라 쓴 두 막대기를 준비했다. 하나님의 손에서 둘이 하나가 되게 하셨다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
죄로 인해 흩어져 디아스포라로 살던 이스라엘과 유다를 하나님이 예루살렘으로 돌아오게 하시고 성소를 세웠다. 다윗과 그 후손을 왕으로 삼아 다스리게 하셨다.
3. 결단과 적용
엔게디에서 엔 에글라임까지 사해바다 같이 죽었던 유다와 이스라엘을 살려 부흥하게 하신 하나님은 이 둘을 하나되게 하셨다. 부흥의 목적은 만백성들이 예수와 하나되게 하려 함이라.
오늘의 기도
“너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 거하시는 것을 알지 못하느냐 누구든지 하나님의 성전을 더럽히면 하나님이 그 사람을 멸하시리라 하나님의 성전은 거룩 하니 너희도 그러하니라” (고전 3:16-17). “내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩할 찌니라” (레 11:45). 하나님이 거하시는 성소를 내 마음에 세워주신 주님을 찬양합니다. 거룩하신 주님이 내 안에 계시니 오늘도 구별된 삶, 거룩한 삶, 거룩하신 주님을 증거하게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘God’s purpose of revival is to be united with Jesus’
Ezekiel 37:15-28
1. Observation and meditation on the text
Ezekiel obeyed God and prepared two wooden sticks. He wrote on the first stick, "Belonging to Judah and the Israelites," and on the second, "Belonging to Joseph (Ephraim) and all the Israelites." God declared that they would be united as one in His hand.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God prophesied through Ezekiel that He would bring the Israelites—who were scattered due to their sins—back to Jerusalem, establish His Holy Temple there, and dwell with them. Furthermore, God declared that David and his descendants would be their kings.
3. Decisions and applications
God, who revived the lifeless Israelites (much like water bringing life from En Gedi to En Eglaim), declared that He would unite them as one in His hand. The ultimate goal of spiritual revival is to be united with Jesus, who is the King of kings and a descendant of David so that I may live a holy consecrated life in Jesus Christ.
Today's Prayer
"Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple." (1 Cor.3:16-17). "Be holy, because I am holy." (Lev.11:44-45)
I praise the Lord for establishing His holy temple in my heart. Since a holy God lives within me, help me, Lord, to live a holy, consecrated, sanctified, and distinct life in You today. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
