‘마라를 나오미로 바꾸시는 하나님’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
육신적인 필요를 채우기 위해 베들레헴 에서 모압으로 떠났던 나오미가 룻과 함께 베들레헴으로 돌아왔다. ‘기쁨’의 삶에서 ‘고난’의 삶을 체험하고 왔다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
베들레헴, 떡집으로 다시 돌아온 나오미의 삶은 보리추수를 통한 ‘고난’에서 ‘기쁨’의 삶으로 회복되어진다. 생명의 떡 예수께 돌아오면 내 삶이 회복된다.
3. 결단과 적용
나로 고난을 겪게 하시는 이유는 “사람이 떡으로 만 사는 것이 아니요 여호와의 입에서 나오는 모든 말씀으로 사는 줄을 네가 알게 하려 하심이라” (신 8:3).
오늘의 기도
“주여 영생의 말씀이 계시매 우리가 뉘게로 가오 리까” (요 6:68). 생명을 주시는 떡이 나의 음식이요 보혈이 나의 음료이니 예수님의 말씀을 먹고 보혈을 마심으로 나도 영생하게 하소서(요 6:54-56). 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.

1. Observation and Meditation
alongside Ruth. Although they had originally gone to Moab to seek physical sustenance during a famine, their time there resulted in profound loss and suffering. Despite their grief, they chose to return to Bethlehem, seeking a new beginning.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Naomi’s life began to transition from affliction back to joy the moment she set foot in Bethlehem—the "House of Bread"—just as the barley harvest was beginning. This reminds me that my own life is restored when I return to Jesus, who is the true Bread of Life. Restoration starts with the decision to return to His presence.
3. Decisions and Applications
I recognize that God sometimes allows disciplinary hardships to teach me a vital truth: "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord" (Deut. 8:3). I will prioritize spiritual nourishment over worldly comfort, trusting that His discipline leads to deeper dependence on Him.
Today's Prayer
"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life" (John 6:68).
Lord, Your Word is the bread that sustains me, and Your sacrifice is the drink that satisfies my soul. Today, I commit to 'eating' Your Words and 'drinking' of Your Spirit so that I may abide in You and enjoy the gift of eternal life (John 6:54-56).
