‘환난의 날에 산성이신 주께 피하라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
요나의 전도로 회개하고 구원받은 니느웨가 100여년후에 다시 우상숭배에 빠졌다. 나훔(위로자) 선지자가 하나님은 죄를 심판하시나 회개하고 돌아오는 자는 구원하신 다는 메시지를 전했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님은 질투와 보복의 하나님 이어서 죄는 심판한다. 앗수르는 나훔의 예언대로 홍수로 망 했다. 그러나 지금까지도 1%가 주께 돌아와 예수를 믿는다.
3. 결단과 적용
하나님은 회개하고 주께 돌아오는 자를 구원 하신다. 지금도 나를 기다리신다. 환난의 날에 나는 피난처 되신 주께 달려가 구원을 받으리라.
오늘의 기도
주여 나의 죄를 심판해 멸망시킬 수도 있는데 참음으로 조용히 기다리시는 주님을 찬양합니다. 환난 날에 나의 피난처 되신 주님에게 오늘도 피하오니 구원하여 주소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Flee to God, who is a refuge in crises’
Nahum 1:1–8
1. Observation and meditation on the text
Nineveh, which had previously been saved through Jonah’s preaching, fell back into idol worship 100 years later. The prophet Nahum (whose name means "Comforter") prophesied that while the Lord judges sinners, He saves those who repent and return to Him.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Because God is a jealous and avenging God, He executes judgment upon sinners. Just as Nahum prophesied, Assyria was eventually destroyed by a flood. However, history shows that those who sought refuge in God—about 1% of the population—returned to Him. Today, many of their descendants still believe in Jesus Christ.
3. Decisions and applications
God saves anyone who repents of their sins and turns back to Him. Because God is always waiting for me, I will run to Him and take refuge in Him whenever I face a crisis.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I praise You because You wait so patiently for a sinner like me, even though You have every right to judge and destroy me for my sins. Today, I take refuge in You, Lord. Please deliver me from my enemies. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
