‘Live as a wounded healer.’

1 Chronicles 16:23-36

1. Observation and meditation on the Text

Like Israel, all human beings have harmed themselves through sin. However, we are saved by God's hesed—His unfailing goodness, steadfast love, and mercy. Because I have experienced His healing grace, God calls me to live as a wounded healer, following the model of Jesus Christ.

2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT

As I praise the Lord who saved me, I am called to continually bear witness to His hesed to all nations. I glorify the name of the Lord—the only true and living God above all false gods—through sincere worship and by sharing His Word, knowing that He alone reigns over all creation.

3. Decision and Application

Because the Lord has healed and saved me through His crucifixion and resurrection, I commit to living my life as a wounded healer for others.

*Today’s prayer

"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him." — Psalm 34:8. Lord, since I have been saved and restored by the ultimate Wounded Healer, Jesus Christ, help me walk this same path. Grant me the grace to deny myself, take up my cross, and follow Him daily (Matthew 16:24). Guide me to share Your healing love with a hurting world. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
