본문 관찰과 묵상
에바브라 편에 골로새 교회의 성도들이 복음진리의 말씀을 듣고 믿음 소망 사랑으로 열매를 맺고 산다는 소식에 바울은 하나님께 감사드렸다. 저들에게 은혜와 평강이 넘치기를 기도했다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
바울은 에바브라를 복음으로 낳았고 에바브라는 골로새 교회를 세웠다. 영성 계승이 잘 이루어졌다. 바울이 얼마나 하나님께 감사하고 에바브라를 자랑스럽게 여겼겠는가? 영성의 계승은 말이 아닌 열매로 증명된다.
결단과 적용
영성계승은 이렇게 이루어져야 한다. 내가 복음으로 낳은 사람이 아들이요 형제요 동역자다. 뒤돌아 보면 잘한다고 했지만 실수한 것들이 많았다. 그래도 소망을 잃지 않는다. 사람은 변화 받을수 있다. 주님이 간섭 하시기를 기도한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Upon hearing the news that the Colossians bore fruits of faith, hope, and love from Epaphras, Paul gave thanks to God. And Paul prayed for them so that grace and peace from God might be passed unto them.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Paul gave birth to Epaphras by the gospel, and Epaphras established a church in Colossae. It was a role model of successful spiritual progression. How much Paul was proud of Epaphras as well as God? Spiritual succession is proved not by words, but by fruits.
Decisions and applications
Paul’s relationship with Epaphras is a good model of successful spiritual sequence. If I give birth to one, that person is my son, brother, and co-worker. In retrospect, I made many mistakes in my passing legacy unto next generation. However, I still have hope because people can be transformed. I pray for God’s divine intervention in my relationship with others.
