‘계명을 지키는 자가 예수를 아는 자다’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수 그리스도는 하나님 앞에서 우리를 변호해 주시는 대언자다. 나같은 사람이 화목제물로 죽으신 예수로 구원을 받았다. 그렇다면 나도 예수의 계명을 지켜 나에게 죄 지은 형제를 용서하며 산다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
예수를 아는 자는 용서할 줄 아는 자이다. 예수의 계명이 서로 사랑하라는 것이기 때문이다. 말씀에 순종하지 않고 특별한 영적 지식이 있어 하나님을 안다는 영지주의자가 오늘도 많다. 영적 분별력이 없는 자들은 다 그런 이단에 속아서 산다.
결단과 적용
예수를 알고 예수와 사귐이 있는 자는 예수의 계명을 지키며 산다. 영지주의자 들은 예수의 계명을 지키지 않는다. 그들은 자신들이 특별한 영적지식이 있고 체험이 있어 예수의 말씀과 계명을 순종 하지 않는다. 속고 사는 어리석은 자들을 불쌍히 여겨 기도한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Jesus Christ is my Lawyer (Advocate) who defends me before God. I have been saved by Jesus who died for me as a peace offering. Therefore, I keep his command and forgive those who sinned against me.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
If I know Jesus, I can forgive any sinners against me because his command is to love one another. However, there are so many Gnostics who put much more authority on their special knowledge(gnosis) and experience than Jesus’ words. Those who do not have any spiritual discernment are deceived by such heretical false prophets.
Decisions and applications
If I know Jesus by intimate personal fellowship with him, I keep his commands. However, the Gnostics never obey Jesus’ words. They insist that they don’t need to obey Jesus’ commands because they have enough special knowledge(gnosis) and experiences to know God. I pray for those who are being deceived by the false prophets.
