‘지키라는 자가 신이 되어 망한 두로 왕’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
두로 왕은 하나님이 기름을 부어 에덴을 지키는 천사처럼 세웠다. 천사장 루시퍼가 타락해서 쫓겨나 사탄이 된 것처럼 두로가 하나님처럼 행하자 심판 당했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
사탄은 오늘도 “네가 하나님이 먹지 말라고 한 것을 먹으면 너도 하나님처럼 되리라”(창 3:5) 고 유혹해 타락시킨다. 두로는 자신이 신이라 하다 멸망했다.
3. 결단과 적용
이단이 극성을 부리며 택함 받은 자라도 삼키려 든다. 교만한 마음은 자신을 신이라고 착각하게 한다. 예수님의 겸손을 오늘도 닮아가며 살리라(빌 2:5-11)
오늘의 기도
“사람의 마음의 교만은 멸망의 선봉이요 겸손은 존귀의 길잡이니라” (잠 18:16). 오늘도 낮은 곳으로 내려가며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!
‘Proud Tyre’s king was killed because he lived like a god’
Ezekiel 28:1–19
1. Observation and meditation on the text
The King of Tyre was called and anointed by God to be a guardian of a prosperous city, much like the angels who were called to guard the Garden of Eden. However, just as the archangel Lucifer rebelled against God and was cast down to earth as Satan, the King of Tyre grew arrogant, acted like a god, and was ultimately judged by God.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I hear the Lord reminding me of Satan's persistent tactics. Satan continually tempts and tries to destroy us by whispering the same old lie: "If you eat the forbidden fruit, you will be like God" (Genesis 3:5). The King of Tyre fell into this exact trap and was destroyed by God because he arrogantly declared himself to be divine.
3. Decisions and applications
Today, false prophets and heretics are widespread, attempting to deceive and devour even the chosen ones by tempting them with the desire to be like God. A haughty spirit is deceptive and tricks us into pursuing our own godhood. To counter this, I will strive to resemble Jesus today by actively imitating His humility (Philippians 2:5–11).
Today's Prayer
"Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor" (Proverbs 18:12). Lord, empower me to practice downward mobility today and walk in true humility. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
